Ladybug 1st Birthday

This 1st birthday cake request had a ladybug theme.  I created a three tiered cake with ladybugs, daisies, leaves, and grass.  The client wanted a smash cake for the birthday girl, so I made a removable ladybug for the top of the cake.  The cake is chocolate with vanilla frosting and the ladybug is yellow cake with vanilla frosting.  I also made yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting.  The cupcakes were decorated with ladybugs and leaves.  All of the decorations are made with sugar paste.

Nora's 1st Birthday - Dots, Circles and Stars

This cake request was for a sweet little girl's 1st birthday.  Her mom gave me one of the plates she purchased for the party and I designed this cake based on it.  The cake is vanilla with vanilla frosting, two tiers and each tier is two layers.  I also made a "smash" cake for Nora with the same design.

Piece of Cake

I made this cake for one of my favorite friends for her birthday.  After the half birthday cake I made a few weeks ago, I thought it would be fun to make a piece of cake instead.  This is what I came up with....a huge piece of cake on a plate made of cake.

The plate is a layer of cake with a 3 layer piece of cake on top of it.
