1st Birthday - Fall Theme

Fall is one of my favorite seasons, and why I loved designing and decorating this cake so much.  The cake was for a 1st birthday in October.  It was decorated with fondant stripes, dots, pumpkins and leaves all in fall colors.  I loved making the pumpkins the most.

7th Birthday Mermaid

Seven year olds must love mermaids...because this was the second request for a mermaid cake for a 7th birthday.  This cake is 2 tiers...the bottom is an underwater scene with chocolate rocks and tootsie roll seaweed, starfish and goldfish. The top tier is a beach with graham cracker sand and a frosting mermaid.
